Drums, Smash, another Birthday Bash!

Austin turned four in March and the only thing he wanted for his birthday was to visit a music store. So off to Utah!

Our little musician loves instruments and in the guitar room quickly pointed out; "Dad that's not an electric guitar that's a bass guitar". After the music store we visited the HAFB Aerospace Museum and then it was Pinata time at grandpa and grandma's.

Thanks for being the life of the party Austin! We love you...

A bright star entered our universe!

Two years ago a bright little star entered our universe! Filled with light our "little monkey" celebrated her second birthday in February. We had such a wonderful time watching her devour her birthday cup cake and scream with delight at new heart pajamas - who new clothes would be such a hit at this age?

Thanks for brightening our world little monkey!

Holiday Re-cap

Okay, I'm already struggling with the new year's resolution to maintain the blog!

The holidays were phenomenal this year; family, friends, fun... Of course, the kids made it all magical, and two weeks of no real responsibilities was an incredible gift! Scott made it to the break on fumes, this past school semester and work have been a killer on us all, there is nothing like re-charging by spending time on what really matters. May 2009 bring all our loved ones the very best.

Hope ya'll enjoy the pictures- they're worth more than words...

How Grateful We Are...

We had so much fun over Thanksgiving this year. On Thanksgiving day we flew to St. George..Austin loved the peanuts, Allie loved window shades, Scott loved lugging luggage, and Lisa loved just being out of the house! St. George was rainy but we loved seeing the Jackman cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Milne. We all stayed in a fun condo in a new Hidden Valley development. Thanksgiving dinner was at Ray and Sherry Milne's. We ate, played with toys, ate, played Nertz, ate and sat...

Friday we spent at the sand dunes. Allie loved being buried in sand while Austin loved being on a four-wheeler with daddy. That night the girls went to see the Secret Life of Bees and Grandpa, Rob and Scott played with the kids ate pizza, then they went to see the latest James Bond movie.

Saturday Grandpa took us to the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum. Then we went exploring for glyphs and fossils. Grandpa got a flat tire in the dark but we made it back to town. For dinner we celebrated Scott's birthday by eating at an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant. It's hard to believe Scott could eat so many crab legs! Then the Ray Milne family came to the condo for "golf", Settlers of Catan, and laughs...

Sunday we couldn't catch a flight out of St. George so we crammed into Grandpa's truck and drove to Salt Lake...we made the 9:00pm flight back to Pocatello, Austin fell asleep on the landing, we locked ourselves out of our house...but we were home!

What a whirlwind trip, but so much to be thankful for!
