Remember in Disney’s Emperor’s New Groove when Kuzco and Pacha are tied to log in the middle of river after a series of harrowing danger where they have barely come out alive and then they have the following exchange?
Pacha: Uh-oh.
Kuzco: Don't tell me. We're about to go over a huge waterfall.
Pacha: Yep.
Kuzco: Sharp rocks at the bottom?
Pacha: Most likely.
Kuzco: Bring it on.
-School started this week- I’m taking two classes; Qualitative Research Methodology and Faculty Affairs (exciting huh!), Lisa is taking Statistics
-We both are going to start teaching the Adoptive Parents class again beginning in October so we are frantically preparing
-Austin loved going to the dentist and loves showing off his brushed teeth, we have a second doctor’s visit with him tomorrow to check out his adenoids (he snores like crazy)
- Austin is starting "joy school/pre-school" and both kids are starting Kindermusic again
-The kids have had colds this last week, Allie loves to make animal sounds and especially likes to growl lately
-Our garden is finally starting to come on and we are excited about the corn
-My five finger shoes came in the mail yesterday and I love them! (I’ll blog about them in the future)
-We had the Jackman/Milne’s over two weeks ago and we miss them big time already
-Work is really stating to get crazy will more focused responsibilities with recruitment, and then the travel season is upon us
-We’re still team teaching the 7-8 yr old's in Church and have a full class
Big waterfall, sharp rocks? Bring it on.
P.S. Yes, I am bummed Bigfoot still is yet to be found!

Sounds like you guys are very busy (but a wonderful kind of busy)! Too bad about that Bigfoot thing, LOLOLOL!
I love reading your blog, you guys!! Thanks for letting me keep up with your awesome family at least a little! I'm so impressed by how you guys keep it all together with everything that you guys have going on. Good luck with everything, you make my life with four kids seem like cake. Like you said, 'bring it on' or my mantra that I say everyday... 'It'll all work out'.
Do they make the 5-fingered shoes in womens sizes. I thought Fred's were the coolest. Seriously!
Scott! I have SO enjoyed reading your blog and catching up on your life! Congratulations on your amazing adoptions. Andy and I probably can't have any more children (our daughter Isabella will be 8 this year) and hope to adopt someday.
Anyways, I just wanted to stop by and say HI. I added you guys to my blog list, I hope you don't mind.
Sincerely,
Melissa Curtis (Gurrister)
ps - hope to see you at the next reunion!
It looks like you two are staying pretty busy! That is good...It will keep you young:) Good luck with your upcoming classes!

Hey Scott,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I read all the posts on your site about your adoptions, but would love to hear more- if you'd like to share. I have some questions I'd like to email to you and your wife about your birth-moms and how your adoptions work with both of them, but it might be a while before I get to it. (We're trying to get our house prepped for selling.)
It was great to hear from you! Mind if I link to your blog from mine?
Becky
Sorry about the redundant comment - I didn't realize that you guys have the content approval feature and just thought that my first comment got lost in the blogging abyss!
Hey guys, just found your blog from the Granite 94 website. Your kids are darling. Our blog is beamovi.blogspot.com if you are interested.

Just wanted to say I love you guys. It's fun to catch up on our happenings.
Hey it was great to see Scott in town. It made me think of Lisa though. I always remember the warmth that she emulated. Lisa you are a great example to everyone. You have a great gift at making others feel loved. Still looking up to the both of you,
Thanks
Nicole Jones
I am so glad you found me! It will be great to keep up with you guys this way. What a beautiful family you have. They are both such cute kids. Sounds like you are all so busy and what would I give to have you as Macey's 7-8 year old Primary teachers! (She is getting baptized next month.) We love you guys and hope we can see you the next time we are in Utah.
Hi guys..will either of you please email me your mailing address? Hope all is great with you and that you had a good weekend.
